The only thing worse than dying is living

During the year of 2015, an undercover investigation was carried out within the Natural Bridge Zoo in Virginia. An investigator for the Humane society of the United States worked undercover within the zoo for five months. The purpose for this investigation was to uncover the filthy, horrifying experiences these helpless animals have to go through each and every day only to give out an educational experience for it's audience.

The investigator exposed that there was a ''blatant disregard for the welfare of these animals'', holding so many animals without the necessary amount of staff needed to properly care for these animals. The unproportionate number between the animals and staff was enough to prove that it was impossible to properly care for them all.

Cubs were left to starve in order to be easily controlled during public contact sessions. Hitting was a common force of discipline. The cubs contracted parasitic diseases causing blood shed. One of the staff was heard saying;

'' I don't care if the cat's head is falling off,
You do not tell somebody that they're sick.''

Baby monkeys were captured and sold to the unregulated exotic pet trade. Monkeys that were infected were left untreated for weeks. The owner proposed an alternative motion, instead of treating the monkey, it was poisoned to death. Tori, a baby camel got stuck in an unsafe enclosure and was left to slowly choke to death. Most of the animals were either left starved to die slowly and painfully, or else were killed in an instant with as little dignity as possible.
The investigator claimed that for these animals, the only thing worse than dying as living. These innocent animals lived to be constantly tortured, only for the eye of the people.

The wild cruel animal is not behind the bars of a cage. He is in front of it.
